Boat rental

Renting a boat is an option those who have established their competence and anyone who wishes to rent will be required to have conducted a sailing assessment with a member of the class.

Rental periods can be daily or weekly and charges depend on the time of year. With the exception of Bank Holiday weekends, you can pay for two days and get the third day free! The booking process will be through the BSC office, using a JOT form: the office will refer un-assessed applicants to the BODA team.

You do not have to race if you rent a boat. You may take the boat sailing but must arrange safety cover and stay in contact with the club on VHF.
